Kapama River Lodge welcomes its first Deluxe & Royal Suite guests

​Last year Kapama began the next phase in the extensive Kapama River Lodge refurbishment project which started back in 2018.

This phase included a number of projects including upgrading the decking area at the Spa & Wellness Centre, the deck area around the rim-flow bar pool, as well as the fireplace and lounge in the bar area which was completed in August 2020.

Part of this renovation phase included upgrading and restructuring the two Royal Suites at River Lodge.

The two newly renovated Royal Suites offers a perfect balance of rustic elegance, modern industrial solid oak craftsmanship finishes. The opulent suites are furnished with a relaxing couch, desk and chairs as well as an expansive wrap-around balcony to take in the surrounding sights and sounds.

The expansive bathroom offers incredible views of the bush, making our Royal Suites a firm favourite with guests since first revealed in July.

In addition to this, the major part of this refurbishment phase included upgrading and vastly increasing thirty-three of the 35m2 standard rooms into 60m2 Deluxe Suites.

We are excited to announce Kapama River Lodge will welcome their first Deluxe Suites guests.

The Deluxe Suite is a perfect balance of rustic elegance, modern industrial and solid oak craftsmanship finish with state-of-the-art room technology.

The Deluxe Suites include a king-sized bed convertible to a ¾-bed set. The full, en-suite bathroom comprises natural stone finishes, an open walk-in rain shower, and a deep soaking bath with views of the Africa Bush. Each suite has a minibar area with a variety of snacks and drinks, as well as a tea and coffee station.

Together with superb game viewing, attentive service, and excellent dining, we are excited for our guests to experience the new Deluxe Suites and luxurious amenities and comforts for which Kapama is renowned the world over.

In addition to the renovation of the decking at River Lodge Spa, the upgrading of Standard Suites into Deluxe Suites as well as the lounge and deck area at the pool bar, Kapama River Lodge is transforming its entire dining experience.

From December 2021, besides our traditional boma, guests will enjoy a new safari dining adventure in our newly constructed restaurant, where delicious cuisine from an a-la-carte menu will tantalise tastebuds. The entire structure, layout, ambience, and view will be something extraordinary and we can’t wait for guests to experience this exciting phase with us.
