Goodday!

Kapama Ranger Blog

This morning started off a little quite, but was fantastic weather for a game drive as it was slightly overcast and not too hot.
We soon found the Western Sector’s big dominant male rhino which kept us entertained for a half an hour at a waterhole as we watched him wallow in the mud. After his mud bath he ambled off and smelled around a bit and then marked his territory before continuing on his way and looking up his females.
Lately the weather looked like the rains might finally be on the way but all we have received has been the occasional  misty shower.
This afternoon we will go in search of the lionesses with the two cubs who are doing great and getting bigger by the day.
