Photographic workshops at kapama

Capacity: 6 people

Interested in a photographic safari? World-class photographic training by leading South African wildlife photographers is aimed at beginner and intermediate photographers.

Bringing together like-minded people who enjoy both nature and photography, the workshop covers everything from operating a camera to how to compose and spot evocative images. Whether you’ve never picked up a camera before or just want to learn to use the one you have better, the emphasis of the weekend is on learning both the technical and artistic sides of photography in a relaxing, natural environment.

All appropriate genres of photography will be discussed, and the theoretical aspects will be taught during the sessions hosted in the lodge conference room. Game drives, accompanied your professional wildlife photographer, allows you to put your knowledge into practice. Groups are kept small to ensure personal attention and to ensure all participants have ‘window’ seats. Private game viewing vehicles are allocated to host six photographers and one professional photographer guide per vehicle.

  • Up to two guests – R 14 700 per day, excluding the daily rate of your Lodge of choice
  • Two – Four guests – R16 800 per day, excluding the daily rate of your Lodge of choice
  • Five – Six guests – R18 600 per day, excluding the daily rate of your Lodge of choice
