Playing Leopards

Kapama Ranger Blog

img-2The past few nights, my guests and I have had amazing sightings with male and female lions roaring next to the car while the moon shone full across the open plains. Elephants and their young played in the middle of the road for us, and rhinos lazily grazed in and out of the bushes. We also had a fantastic sighting of Hippo out of the water.

On the last night of Stephan Schael and Christine Bubeck’s stay here with us at River Lodge, we were lucky enough to enjoy a sighting with two Leopard cubs playing while their mother ate off a recent kill. Thank you Stephan for sharing the above picture for our Blog!
