It`s 17:25 in the afternoon, waiting for SA guests to go out on drive. While sitting in the vehicle wondering which animals they would want to see. SA guests go to Kruger National Park quite often and most of the time they have seen it all before. About an hour into our drive my tracker Emmanuel spotted fresh elephant tracks, so my tacker and i hopped off the vehicle and went for a short walk to see where the tracks lead to, after a couple of minutes we heard branches braking and new they must be close. So we headed back to the cruiser and drove around to the next road and there they were. Two younngsters were taking a sand bath. A young bull was very curious and made his way closer to the vehicle, a couple of meters away he stopped and started feeding on a tree. It was an amazing sighting especially with all the youngsters playing around. All the guests thanked me and to some was the best elephant sighting they had ever had. I have been guiding for 7 and a half years and every day is different with every sighting the animals behaviour changes which keeps you on the edge and that`s what makes it so great.
