Today I just realized again how privileged we are as rangers to see every sunset and sun rise.
To fully understand the length of one day. I’m pretty sure there is a lot of people out there that wake up in the dark, spend more than a hour in the traffic, go to an ordinary office job, spend 8hours behind a computer and at the end of the day go home in the dark.
Today, just before sun set. While most people in any big city in the world was sitting in peak traffic.
We were following 3 white rhinos for more than half an hour.
They were 5 m in front of the vehicle. We could hear them breathing, we could see the interaction between them and hear them eating the grass. That is what life is all about!!
A moment like that to make us appreciate what we have!
