This morning Maggie and I had set out on the task of finding the Adult Male lion…

Soon after setting off we found the first tracks and started following them.  In and out, up and down!  A little while later we saw that the two adult female lions had joined up with him… Bonus!

With the help of our amazingly knowledgeable trackers we could see where they had slept, gone to go drink water and set off again.  The sun is getting hot but we persevered… More tracks, we are now far from where we started – we walked most of three major “sections” of the reserve!

Then in a corner of a big open area… there they are, lying in smallest patch of shade! SUCCESS
